My girls hate math.
And since I was an English major, I’m pretty useless when it’s time for homework.
So to help them, I ask questions designed to help them figure out the answers on their own. But invariably when I leave the room, I hear them say, “Alexa . . .”
They don’t want to sit there all night, learning how to do math. They want someone (Alexa) to do it for them.
They just want someone to tell them what to do.
